Storefront Visibility Control in Simply Forms lets you control who can see a form on your Shopify storefront based on customer login status and customer tags.

Who Can See a Form?
Simply Forms lets you control form visibility based on whether a customer is logged in. You can make a form visible to:
- Everyone
- Logged-in customers only
- Logged-out visitors only
For example, you might show a general Contact Us form to everyone while limiting an account request or post-purchase support form to logged-in customers.
Show or Hide Forms Based on Customer Tags
For logged-in customers, you can further control form visibility using Shopify customer tags. For example, you can:
- Show a wholesale order form only to customers tagged Wholesale.
- Show a VIP request form only to customers tagged VIP.
- Hide a particular form from customers with a specific tag.
If you configure both visible and hidden customer tags, hidden tags take priority.
This makes it possible to create different form experiences for different customer groups without building separate storefront pages or adding custom code.
How Do You Configure Storefront Visibility?
You configure form visibility directly in the Shopify Theme Editor after adding a Simply Forms app block to your storefront. Select the form block and configure its visibility settings based on login status and, when needed, customer tags.
The form remains visible in the Theme Editor while you configure it, so you can continue designing and previewing the form even when its storefront visibility is restricted.
Combine Form Visibility with Submission History
Simply Forms can also display a logged-in customer’s previous form submissions alongside the form.
You can position submission history above, below, to the left, or to the right of the form—or hide it entirely.
Combining visibility controls with submission history can be useful for customer service, post-purchase requests, membership forms, and other experiences designed for specific customer groups.
