In this release (March 7, 2026), we’ve upgraded the Bootstrap framework used by form elements from v4 to v5. This Bootstrap 5 form upgrade improves responsiveness and delivers a more modern, consistent look across different browsers and devices.
You may notice some minor visual updates to certain elements while designing and previewing your forms in the Form Builder. For example, the File Upload element now has a refreshed appearance (see screenshots below).
We’ve also improved the Camera element experience on mobile devices. Instead of opening the camera directly, it will now open the photo gallery, allowing customers to easily select an existing photo to upload.
This change ensures better compatibility across mobile devices, since some phones previously did not provide an option to choose images from the gallery.
We also fixed a bug in the Range element that caused UI issues when custom min, max, or step values were used.
These improvements help create a smoother and more reliable experience for your customers when submitting forms.
