We’re excited to introduce the International Phone Number widget, now available in the latest version of Simply Forms. Designed for businesses serving a global audience, this new widget helps you collect accurate phone numbers while providing a familiar and localized experience for your customers.
Built for Global Forms
The widget includes a country selector with country flags and international dialing codes. It makes it easy for customers to enter their phone numbers in the correct format.
To improve data quality, phone numbers are automatically validated based on the selected country’s numbering rules, helping reduce formatting errors and incomplete submissions.
Flexible Configuration
The widget is highly configurable through the Element Properties panel.
You can:
- Choose which countries appear in the Country Selector.
- Set a default country for your primary audience.
- Allow customers to easily switch to another country when needed.
For an even better user experience, country names are automatically localized on your storefront according to your page’s current locale, so visitors see country names displayed in their preferred language whenever supported.
Responsive Layout
When you drag the International Phone Number widget into a form, it automatically spans the full width of the form, giving the country selector and phone number field plenty of room for a clean, user-friendly layout.
If you’d prefer a more compact design, simply add a multi-column row first, then place the widget into one of the columns. This allows the widget to share space with other form elements while maintaining a responsive layout.
